    • Acne Agents, Topical

    Elicits antiseptic, antiparasitic, antiseborrheic, and keratolytic actions

    Acne Vulgaris

    • Lotion/cream/ointment: After cleansing, apply sparingly to affected area(s) up to BID/TID
    • Cleanser/bar: May use qDay or BID; gently massage cleanser onto wet face and neck until lathered; rinse thoroughly

    Seborrheic Dermatitis

    • Ointment: Apply 5-10% to affected area and rub in gently qDay/BID; apply to clean, dry skin

    Scabies (Off-label)

    • Use 6% ointment qHS x3 days
    • Wash entire body with soap and water and dry thoroughly
    • Apply to entire body from neck down and rub in gently; leave on for 24 hr
    • Thoroughly wash entire body with soap and water 24 hr after last treatment

    Hypersensitivity

    • Erythema
    • Excessive desquamation
    • Skin irritation/inflammation

    External use only

    Do not use on skin that is broken, sun- or wind-burned, dry, irritated, or with existing skin rash

    Avoid contact with eyes or mucus membranes

    Discontinue if excessive skin irritation develops

    Pregnancy category: C

    Lactation: insufficient data; drug absorbed through intact and broken skin

    Pregnant or breastfeeding patients should seek advice of health professional before using OTC drugs
