Description
Cofactor in xanthine oxidase (uric acid formation), aldehyde oxidase (EtOH detoxification), sulfite oxidase (sulfite detoxification)

Copper is indicated as Dietry Supplement
Contraindications
Copper deficient patients
Undiluted injection into peripheral vein (risk of infusion phlebitis)

Gout-like symptoms (high dose)
