    Isopropamide / Trifluoperazine is used for Muscular contraction that causes pain, Peptic ulcer, Nausea, Cold, Inflammation of nasal membrane, Depression, Vomiting, Emotional instability and other conditions.

    Isopropamide / Trifluoperazine is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
    • Muscular contraction that causes pain
    • Peptic ulcer
    • Nausea
    • Cold
    • Inflammation of nasal membrane
    • Depression
    • Vomiting
    • Emotional instability
    Hypersensitivity to Isopropamide / Trifluoperazine is a contraindication. In addition, Isopropamide / Trifluoperazine should not be used if you have the following conditions:
    • Blood dyscrasias
    • Children below age of six years
    • Coma
    • Hepatic or renal impairment
    • Hypersensitivity
    • Lactation
    • Preexisting CNS depression
    • Pregnancy
    • Prolactin dependent tumours
    The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur in medicines that contain Isopropamide / Trifluoperazine. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

    • Restlessness
    • Blurred vision
    • Muscle weakness
    • Faintness on standing up
    • Drowsiness
    • Insomnia
    • Dry mouth
    • Loss of appetite
    • Water retention
    • Eye problems
    • Dizziness
    • Weight gain
    • Weakness
    • Constipation
    • Difficulty in urination
    • Agitation
    • Depression
    • Fits
    • Abnormally rapid heartbeat
    • Low blood pressure
    • Absence of menstruation
    • Neuroleptic malignant syndrome
    • Blood dyscrasias
    Before using Isopropamide / Trifluoperazine, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
    • Allergic reactions
    • Consult your doctor in case you suffer from heart or blood vessel disease, history of blood clotting problems, suffering from parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, loss of memory function, changes in body temperature, intestinal obstruction, cardiovascular disease, pheochromocytoma, brain damage, benign prostatic hyperplasia
    • Do not consume alcohol
    • Do not drive or operate heavy machinery
    • Exercise caution if at risk of paralysis
    • Pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
