    Indications:

    Fefol-Vit Spansule Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
    • Pregnancy
    • Scurvy
    • Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood
    • Microcytic anemia
    • Vitamin deficiency
    • Alzheimer’s disease
    • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
    • Low blood levels of iron
    • Treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid
    • Thiamine deficiency

    Before using Fefol-Vit Spansule Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
    • Administration of folic acid alone is improper therapy for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias in which vitamin B12 is deficient
    • Anticoagulant therapy
    • Avoid alcohol consumption, especially if having alcoholic cirrhosis
    • Breastfeeding
    • Diabetes
    • Diabetics may have false results on urinary glucose test while taking >500mg of ascorbic acid per day
    • Do not administer too rapidly if using intravenous route
    • Do not consume if allergic to any ingredient in the medicine
    • Do not consume if pregnant or breastfeeding

    When not to use Fefol-Vit Spansule Capsule

    Hypersensitivity to Fefol-Vit Spansule Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Fefol-Vit Spansule Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
    • Active peptic ulcer
    • Acute myocardial infarction
    • Allergic reactions
    • Cardiac arrhythmias
    • Diabetes mellitus
    • Hypersensitivity
    • Hyperthyroidism
    • Intolerance to the drug
    • No contraindications to administration of ascorbic acid
    • Occasional smokers
