Description
Ethambutol and Isoniazid Tablet is used for Tuberculosis and other conditions. Ethambutol and Isoniazid Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide
Ethambutol and Isoniazid Tablet works by inhibiting the growth of bacterial cell wall; suppressing the growth of tuberculosis causing bacteria

Warnings
- Avoid interaction with other medications
- Children
- Consult a doctor if you have cataracts, recurrent eye inflammation, inflammation of nerve fibers of eye or diabetic retinopathy
- Do not double the dose
- Do not double the dose to make up for the missed dose
- Do not give to a child younger than 13 years old
- Do not use this medicaiton for longer than told
- Elderly patients
- Have age above 35 years
- Impaired pre-treatment visual acuity
Maximum Dosage
Adults: Prophylaxis and treatment, 15 mg/kg ethambutol plus 300 mg isoniazid in a single daily dose. Re-treatment, see literature.
Children: Not recommended.
