    Neutralizes gastric acid, increases gastric pH

    Indicated for

    • Gastric Hyperacidity, Heartburn

    Hypersensitivity

    Aluminum hydroxide

    • Chalky taste

    • Constipation

    • Fecal impaction

    • Stomach cramps

    • Nausea

    • Vomiting

    • Aluminum intoxication

    • Hypomagnesemia

    • Hypophosphatemia

    • Osteomalacia

    Magnesium Trisilicate

    • Diarrhea

    • Hypermagnesemia

    • Nausea

    • Vomiting

    • Headache

    • Dizziness

    • Lethargy

    • Drowsiness

    • Lightheadedness

    Tinnitus or hearing impairment may reflect toxicity

    Caution in renal failure

    Caution in magnesium restricted diet

    May increase or decrease rate and/or degree of absorption of concomitantly administered oral drugs by changing GI transit time, pH, or by cationic binding

    Lactation: Unknown whether distributed in breast milk

    Regular Strength Tablets: Chew 2-4 tablets PO q6hr PRN; not to exceed 16 tablets/day
